Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of her home town. Her father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father came from a Jewish family. The actress has also a half-sister named Sunyata Jubal. Her older brother is Uria. When Ryder was just seven years old, her family moved into Mendocino County California. The family lived in a place without electricity. Ryder began to be a committed book reader because there was no TV. Ryder began taking acting classes at the age of Ryder was 12, at the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas, a 1986 film which was her first big role. Ryder was just 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder experienced bullying at the high school. Her hope was that her acting career would change that. But, unfortunately, that didn't happen. She continued to pursue her goals. Beetlejuice which was a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big break. Ryder was later cast in success in roles. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
